I hope every kid has no school this week.  So I went to church on Sunday and my Dad [BTW, the Pastor] was talking about being thankful for everything God gives us.  Like at my school, everyday we pray at lunch and everybody prays for us to enjoy the food we have and not to waste the food we get.  Sometimes my classmates and I add, God please help us to savor the food because some kids don’t have food.

Just stop reading this for just a second [don’t worry the page won’t go away] and just think about what you are thankful for.

Oh, Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, my name is MG.  As you can see this is my first post.  I am so excited!

I want this blog to help kids, like myself, learn about life things and how God can help us grow strong.  Some blogs are going to be about fun things I do.  Some are going to be about hard stuff, like when other kids are mean to you and how to deal with it.  Other blogs will be about what God is teaching me and other things, like books I’ve read and songs I like.  I might even put up a song I’ll write or sing.

I want this blog to also be a safe place for other kids and their parents to ask, or my dad, Dr. G. (a Theologian), questions about life and God.
